There is alot of talk at present about Ancestors and Avatars being tainted, I was wondering if a paticular Ancestor or Avatar was tainted would the followers of that faith automatically know if so how? and how easliy is the taint passed up or down between followers, Avatars and Ancestor.

Certain ancestors have further information on this and I hope to commune with them during the upcoming festival of Nicholasmasmas.
I cannot currently use the ritual magics required, and others wish to contact their own ancestors to ask further questions on this matter.
So, would it be possible to have access to the Shard?
