The following is an announcement from the closing edition of the Testament at the Great Erdrejan Fayre. It gives information about the restructure of the Incantor's Guild and the formation of three colleges of faith.

News from the Incantor's Guild

The Incantor's Guild wish to announce a recent restructure.

The Guild will still be led by the Arch High Incantor, Ornesis but will be run by an Inner Council consisting of the Arch High Incantor, the Guildmasters - Cai-Lin, Storn and Othgir; and the Heads of the three newly formed colleges; Master Henry of Durfast for the College of Theology, Mariam Avenel Hroc for the College of Light Incantation and Gilzarn Zilv'Quellar for the College of Dark Incantation.

Membership has been reinstated. Members are required to pay a fee of 2 stell for 1 year or 1 gold for 3 years, which cannot be substituted by Guild Service. Members will be required to swear an oath to agree to keep the Guild rules.

Members of the Guild have the opportunity to join one of the new colleges. The colleges will have their own additional rules.

A number of new postions have been created - those of Chamberlain, Membership Secretary, Training Co-ordinator, Ambassador and Ritualist. These are currently vacant and applications are invited.

Finally, the Sacred Council will no longer be open to all, but will consist of the Inner Council and the High Incantor of each Faction.

Further Information

The information above was announced at the Sacred Council at the Fayre, and published in the Testament. Word has been getting round and we have already had a lot of interest in the new structure of the Guild and in the new colleges.

You can see from the article that we have two new Guildmasters, Storn and Othgir. Ornesis and I officially welcomed them to Guild Command at the Sacred Council and congratulated them on their new appointments.

Congratulations also to the new heads of our colleges, Master Henry, Mariam and Gilzarn. Many of you know them already from their many hours spent with the Guild and the service they have already given.

If you would like further information about the colleges I suggest you make yourself known to the head of the college you are interested in and they will happy to talk with you. As a guide to help you to decide which college is for you, the College of Theology deals with all general matters of faith, ancestors and incantation and is for people who wish to further their understanding and skills in standard incantation, while the Colleges of Light Incantation and Dark Incantation deal with matters specific to those paths, and are for people who already have that specialised ability or who wish to learn it, or who share the philosophy of the college.

Regarding the vacancies in the Guild, we have since filled the position of Training Co-ordinator, but are still welcoming applications for the other positions. If you would like further information about what they involve, or would like to apply please let me know.

A note about these appointments:

Simion Von Beck was appointed at the Great Erdrejan Fayre, but he has not been to the Guild since. If he does not appear at the Gathering then I shall be looking to appoint someone else to this position.

Tocard Grimm has been a Guild Ambassador previously so has experience of this role and I am pleased to welcome him back to the Guild after a short absence.

Lucas McTaff has not been able to visit the Guild for some time but has given assurances that he will attend at the Gathering at which time he can take up his duties. If for any reason he does not appear then I will reassess this appointment.

We still have vacancies for the positions of Membership Secretary and Ritualist. I wish to fill these positions as soon as possible so please let me know if you are interested or if you are aware of any suitable candidates.

In addition to the above appointments, one or two of the Guild Masters still require Personal Aides. If anybody wishes to know more about these positions and is interested in making an application please speak to us at the Gathering.

My own Personal Aide, Falon, has regrettably had to resign due to other commitments and I am therefore looking for a new aide. Suitable candidates should make their application directly to me. Falon has been invaluable to me when he has been able to offer service, so I will be looking to appoint someone of equal ability, but who can also offer a greater commitment of time.
