What does the in game effect of the three shines do. or are just for show?

Although I have heard that if you use them as tables they cause you to be harmed in whichever arm you used to place something on them.

You have to put all your magical items on them whilst im there and then walk off for 10 minutes and something awesome happens.

As others have said, its a find out in play thing as to what they actually do.

However using them as tables does tend to end up with some very bad ju-ju!

i'm ask, because as a warrior preist of the morrigan i want to pray on the light shine, to get some sort of guidenace, so i can continue on my light path.

This sort of thing should be done IC, not to make your life difficult but because if you come and ask IC you gain roleplay out of it. As well as this, these boards (and all and any boards) are not sanctioned by LT, not a recognised part of the game world.

If you're planning a rite or roleplay thing and are asking OC so you can get a ref if you need one, then that's something you can find out when you're doing your IC prep. I'd say drop a line to the Powers Guild plot rep, but I don't think we've got one at the moment. Your own factional plot rep will also be able to help with a rite to the factions ancestors if you need, or you can grab a field yellow to do the observation and paperwork (if any).
